What I'm Actually Buying on Prime Day — Home Picks Worth the Wait
I don't usually shop sales. Not because I don't love a good deal, but because I've learned that buying something just because it's on sale is how you end up with a home full of things that don't belong there.
Prime Day is the exception I make every year. Specifically for the pieces I've had saved for months — some of them longer — waiting for the right moment. These are those pieces. A few are investments I've been watching at full price, hoping for a drop. A few are everyday staples I stock up on when the price is right. All of them are things that actually live in my home, or will.
Prime Day 2026 runs June 23–26. I'll be updating this post with live deals as they go live.
Coffee
Technivorm Moccamaster
There is nothing subtle about wanting this coffee maker. It sits on the counter and it looks like it was designed by someone who took the object seriously. Forest green, copper heating element, brews a full pot in under five minutes.
Tracked at up to 50% off in past Prime Days — last year down to under $200 from $359. If you've been on the fence, this is the window.
ShopTea
Gooseneck Electric Kettle
The copper finish on this one stopped me mid-scroll. It looks like something you'd find in an old European kitchen, not something that ships in two days. I use a kettle every morning and I've never had one that also looked this good doing it.
ShopThe Table
Wood-Handle Silverware Set
Flatware with wood handles feels completely different in your hand than standard silverware. This set is the kind of thing guests notice without knowing why the table looks the way it does.
Shop
Juliska Puro Hurricane
This one is the splurge on the list and I'll own that. I've had it saved for a while and I'm hoping Prime Day is finally the moment. At $150 it's on the higher end, but it's the kind of object that makes everything around it more intentional — on a table, a mantle, a windowsill.
Shop
Stone Lain Bao Pasta Bowls — Charcoal
Stoneware, charcoal glaze, $39.99 for a set of four. What got me was the edge — there's a small faceted detail where the bowl meets itself that makes it look handmade. It's the edge that got me.
ShopThe Kitchen
Vitamix 5200
Not everything earns its counter space by being beautiful. The Vitamix earns it a different way. Soups, smoothies, sauces — it does everything without complaint.
Was $200 off last Prime Day. If you've been waiting, this is the window.
ShopThe Everyday Staple
Bolsius Ivory Taper Candles
Already the best value taper candle on Amazon, and I light them every single day. The discount on these won't be dramatic — but if the price dips at all, I'm buying in bulk. Ivory goes with everything. Dark red for fall. Stock up when you can.
ShopAl Fresco
Scalloped Patio Umbrella — Navy & White
I've been looking for a new patio umbrella for a while and this is the one. The scalloped edge is what does it — it's the difference between furniture and a setting. Outdoor items consistently see good discounts on Prime Day and this is at the top of my list.
