Lately my routine has been all about one thing: skin that looks hydrated and glowy without feeling heavy. These are the newest additions that earned a spot, in the order I use them.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops
I bought these hoping they'd help with my large pores. After a month, I can't say my pores changed, so no magic there. What I did notice is that my skin looks smoother. The hydration is great: super hydrating but never heavy, and it absorbs fast and leaves a nice glow.
A trick I love: when I use one of my heavier foundations, I mix 1 to 3 drops right into it. It turns the foundation into a skin tint with a lovely finish.

Prequel Skin Retinal Renew 0.2% Retinaldehyde Gel
This is my night retinoid. I use it all over my face, with extra attention to the lines forming around my mouth. I love it.
Eliré Anti-Aging Eye Cream
I bought this because I'd heard good things, and they were right. I use it in the daytime and still use a heavier eye cream at night. It absorbs quickly, and the best part is that my concealer no longer peels. With the heavier creams I used before, nothing fully absorbed and concealer never went on as nicely. This one sits under it beautifully.
ICONIC London Underglow Blurring Primer
This is officially a holy grail. I'm about halfway through my first bottle and I don't see myself ever stopping. It creates a clean canvas for foundation, and it blurs. It's not magic, but it gives a nice complexion, plus glow and hydration. And it smells like dessert. Consider that a delicious little bonus.

JUNG SAEM MOOL Skin Nuder Cushion
I just got this and I'm already in love. It's Korean, and I love anything K-beauty. It's feather light and airy, and you can't see it on your skin. It looks natural and skin-like, with good coverage.
L'Oréal Paris True Match Hyaluron Tinted Balm Foundation
Another new holy grail. It has decent coverage and a skin-like finish. It's glowy, but not sticky. It has a different finish from the cushion, and that's why I keep reaching for both. This one is the drugstore, more budget-friendly option. I have other foundations and I still can't put these two down.

COVERGIRL TruBlend Skin Enhancer Baked Luminous Finishing Powder
Yes, it's a finishing powder, and it does set my makeup. But the real reason I reach for it is the radiant finish. It's never matte and never cakey. I use it with glowier products like the L'Oréal balm, around my nose and over my blush and forehead. It also resembles the higher-end finishing powder we all know and love, the Hourglass one, at a fraction of the price.

Aquaphor Healing Balm Stick
This is my night-time rescue. I use it over my lips, on the lines above them, and around my nose. When I overdo my retinal and exfoliating products, I sometimes get dry patches in those spots, and this takes care of them beautifully. A bonus: I also use it on my daughter's hands, which get super dry this time of year. The stick makes it easy because there's no mess.
